A long day...
2 Mar 05 (Wednesday)
I woke up rather late this morning at about 810am just in time for breakfast... But before I could even brush my teeth, Michael asked me if I could do a favour for him... He asked me to go down to the 7 Eleven store down the street to get him 2 litres of milk... Being a groggy state, I agreed and promptly went to grab the milk from the store... I've heard of stories about him 'arrowing' people to run errands for him from those who have stayed longer than me in the lodge... On the whole, he's a pretty nice guy and will try to chat up with you whenever he sees you. I guess this is understandable as he is pretty much alone in the day when the lodge is quiet. So when nights fall, he needs someone to listen to his stories and experiences... Hazzz...
Cindy joined me for the Australian Marine Environment module... (She's clashing the class). ! In addition, she's also attending the Contemporary Australia module with Hong Ee... I think she's going to be very knowledgeable with Australia after our stint in UQ. Hahaz... However, she need to put in more effort in her french language.. Oppz...
As I went to the wrong venue initially; I ended up walking with a group of Americans to the right location. I chatted with one of them and he has a really cool name. He’s called DJ! He’s from Pennsylvania State University (PSU) and he mentioned that he may be visiting Singapore during the term break. =)
