Boring Chinatown

Vibrant it may look; but Chinatown in Brisbane is just a street no longer than 100 metres... (Click on the pic to enlarge)

Chinatown was really disappointing… I thought Chinatown in Brisbane would be as lively as the one we have in Singapore; but alas, it was only a street no longer than 100 metres. We were told that they have the Flea Market every Sunday but it wasn’t bustling with activities at all. There were some occasional shoppers and there was a big group of Asians practicing Tai Chi with swords near the main pavilion. The only consolation was that I finally manage to see shops selling food stuff that bear resemblance to those we have in Singapore… =)
